Bonnie Blomberg has more than 40 years of professional experience as a certified Red Cross swim, snorkel & diving instructor. She started her aquatic career as a lifeguard at the early age of 16, and as a swim instructor at 17. She has been both a competitive swimmer and springboard diver throughout childhood and into college.
Bonnie’s belief is that learning to swim is not just a recreational activity, but a potentially life saving skill for yourself as well as others.
While working for Eugene Parks and Recreation she developed and instituted an adaptive swim curriculum and programs that allowed inclusion for all. She then went on to train instructors in these programs.
Treehouse Therapies is excited to partner with Bonnie to bring the joy of swimming to more kids in our community!
