Michael Wanamaker, OTL
Michael earned his Master’s degree from Utica University in upstate New York in 2026. He has worked as an Occupational Therapy student in school settings and outpatient rehabilitation for veterans. Before this, Michael was an elementary physical education teacher working for Douglas County in Oregon. Mike was born in Roseburg, Oregon, and enjoys fishing, golf, and raising his dog, Biscuit. As far as therapy goes, Mike is a big believer in functional activity and empowering children to believe they can do whatever they set their mind to. He has a strong interest/background in trauma and believes it’s his purpose in life to give back to his community via his work as an OT.
