Lily Shapiro OTD, OTR/L
ASPEN PROGRAM, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Lily is a licensed occupational therapist with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Keck Graduate Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University. She has dedicated her career to supporting children of varying abilities, drawing from both her occupational therapy training and her years of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician. Lily is especially passionate about integrating nature into her therapeutic practice, believing deeply in the healing and regulating power of outdoor environments and animal-assisted activities to foster growth, independence, and joy for the children and families she serves.
During her clinical training, Lily gained experience in outpatient pediatrics, school-based practice, and mental health settings, with specialized exposure to sensory integration and play-based interventions. She values creativity, family collaboration, and whole-child approaches in her work.
Outside of her professional role, Lily loves doing anything active outdoors, traveling, baking, attending concerts, and spending time with family. She is also working toward her goal of visiting every U.S. national park.
