Emily Crenshaw

Emily Crenshaw, CSWA earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and English Literature from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. Following her undergraduate studies, she served for two years as a Youth Development Volunteer with the Peace Corps in Ukraine. Upon returning to the United States, Emily completed her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Tennessee College of Social Work.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Emily relocated to Bend, Oregon, where she has lived for over three years. Her professional experience includes both in-home and residential therapy settings. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, live music, reading, and spending time with her tuxedo cat—a beloved companion she brought home from Ukraine.

At Treehouse Therapies, Emily provides support to children, adolescents, and families through a trauma-informed and client-centered approach. She integrates evidence-based practices such as Collaborative Problem Solving, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Attachment Theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help young people develop emotional awareness and strengthen connections with trusted adults. Emily is passionate about fostering resilience, confidence, and self-esteem to help children and teens thrive.
