Meet Christen Eby, PT, Executive Director and Founder of Treehouse Therapies

Christen Eby, PT, is the Executive Director and founder of Treehouse Therapies, a nonprofit pediatric therapy clinic dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in Central Oregon. With over 22 years of experience as a pediatric physical therapist, Christen has worked in diverse settings, including private practices, hospitals, homes, and schools.

Christen earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Portland State University. She continues to refine her skills through extensive professional development in areas such as the Neurodevelopmental Treatment Approach, pediatric gait analysis, reflex integration, and therapies for conditions like idiopathic toe walking, torticollis, and plagiocephaly. She is also trained in utilizing aquatic therapy and hippotherapy approaches.

In 2005, Christen moved to Bend, Oregon, and identified a critical gap in pediatric therapy services within the region. Driven by her passion for supporting children with special needs, she founded Treehouse Therapies in 2013. Since its inception, the organization has flourished under her leadership, expanding to five locations across Central Oregon and offering a comprehensive range of therapies, including physical, occupational, and behavioral health services.

Christen’s mission has been to make therapy accessible to all children, regardless of their financial circumstances. Her visionary leadership and dedication have made Treehouse Therapies a cornerstone of the Central Oregon community, providing essential services to countless families and fostering an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
