Meet Shayla Wittenberg, BH INtern

Shayla Wittenberg was born and raised in Oregon and loves the lifestyle that Central Oregon has to offer. After spending time traveling the world and living in other states, Shayla found herself being drawn back to Central Oregon where she has lived for the past 2 years with her husband and 3 dogs. Shayla received her undergraduate degree from Moody Bible Institute with a BA in Youth Ministries where she was heavily involved in programs such as the Big Brother/Big Sister program. Concluding her undergraduate degree, Shayla’s path led her to Colorado where she pursued a career in Cosmetology and Barbering and continues to cut hair part-time presently. Though Shayla has explored a variety of careers, her passion for connecting with people remains the common thread of all of her pursuits. Shayla is currently enrolled in a Masters program with Walden University and will graduate in the summer with a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As an Intern with Treehouse Therapies, she is excited to learn and grow into a Licensed Professional Counselor.
