Meet Meghan Link, COTA/L
Meghan is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensed by the State of Oregon and certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapy. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science with a minor in American Sign Language from Western Oregon University followed by her Associates of Occupational Therapy Assistant degree from Linn-Benton Community College. Meghan’s previous work experiences include being a preschool teacher and a caregiver for adults with disabilities. Since 2018, Meghan has been providing occupational therapy services to clients ranging in ages 1-26 years old in an outpatient clinic setting as well as in the academic setting. Meghan has a calm demeanor and positive outlook on life which allows her to develop connections and relationships with people. She is passionate about working with individuals of all ages and abilities and enjoys the creative problem solving aspects of designing and implementing individualized interventions. Meghan utilizes a strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming approach to support those she works with to foster independence and help each person develop the skills necessary to successfully experience all meaningful aspects of daily living. Outside of work, Meghan enjoys bowling, reading, cooking, embroidery, tending to her indoor plants, and spending time with her boyfriend and their dog, Spud. She loves all outdoor activities especially gardening, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, biking, and camping.
