Aquatic
THerapy
Physical, occupational, and behavioral health therapists provide aquatic therapy treatment for children of all ages and diagnoses. Aquatic therapy uses the properties of the water to address a variety of specific needs, including muscle strengthening and flexibility, body awareness and coordination, respiratory and circulatory function, head and neck control, sensory integration and attention, self-esteem, social interactions, and motivation.
OUR Approach
Our therapists employ a range of modalities and treatment techniques, which encompass nature-centered approaches, aquatic therapy, equine-assisted movement therapy (Hippotherapy), and animal-assisted interventions. The goal of aquatic therapy is to assist each child in engaging in activities that are essential to their lives, including playing, learning, and daily routines.
